19th August 2014, Human
Resource Management Department had organized an industrial visit for fifty
students which class by HRM 1,2,3,4 & 5 who were accompanied by two of the
faculties of the department. The visit was to the Human Resource Development
Fund (HRDF) situated in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.
The visit conducted on
college hours during on subject related visit and started traveling from Saito
Colleg at 9.00 a.m. We reached to Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) at
early morning 10.00 a.m. Briefing conducted by two person of HRDF. The first
Briefing conducted by Ms.Norazita. She was explained us about the vision,
mission and background of HRDF. The main purpose of HRDF is to assess and
determine, the types and extent of employees, apprentices, and trainees,
training and retraining in keeping pace with the human resource needs of
industries.
The second briefing
conducted by Mr. Mohamad Zawawi Bin Mohd Noor. He was explained us so many
things such as background of the establishment of NHRC, objectives, functions,
scope of NRHC services, SME TNA consultancy scheme, and NRHC portal. From this
we can learn that, the three categories of SME, services, target group of HRDF,
and seven scope of HR solution. It was a good experience, which has provided exposure
to the human resource students with industrial life. After the briefing
session, we had our lunch together at Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).
From the brief Ms.Norazita
and Mr. Mohamad Zawawi Bin Mohd Noor were benefited in terms of the human
resource details provided by the on an important part for students. The lunch
were prepared by HRDF was simply delicious and the students had a super meal.
We enjoyed the industrial visit and more benefit from the visit.
All the students are
extremely thankful to honorable lecturers Mr. Rajamogan and Ms. Vanisa
officials at organizations who grant the permission of visiting their
organization and guide the students. We are sure that this visit will help us
in our future practical life and bring a positive change in our thinking and
practical behavior regarding education and specially Human Resource and further
career enhancements. At 1.00 p.m. we took college bus and reached college at
2.00 p.m.
